How do I know my driving instructor is fully qualified?
A driving instructor must display his/her Approved driving Instructors badge in the windscreen of their tuition vehicle. A green badge signifies that they are fully qualified and a pink badge means they are still training. What do I need before I start driving?
You need a provisional driving licence. You must complete a driving licence application form D1 (available from most post offices). You can apply for your provisional licence up to three months before your 17th birthday.
How many lessons will I need?
There is no set number, some pupils learn quicker than others. Driving Standards Agency research suggests that about 40 hours training plus additional practice will give you the best chance of passing.
Can you help me prepare for my Theory / Hazard Perception Test?
Yes - we run training workshops using computers and visual aids to train and practice.
Will I need to book my theory / practical test myself?
Practical / Theory test are between you and the DSA but we are happy to book them on your behalf.
