Towing & Trailer Training

Meridian Driving Centre can now offer Training for the B+E Trailer Towing Test. We can also offer caravan manoeuvring and trailer handling courses.

Towing Caravan The law has changed concerning towing trailers and drivers who passed a car test on or after 1 January 1997 are now required to pass an additional driving test in order to tow large trailers and gain entitlement to category B+E and all larger vehicles. All drivers who passed a car test before 1 January 1997 retain their existing entitlement to tow trailers until their licence expires.

The course length will depend on the amount of previous driving experience.
