B. TRANSACTION TERMS

When you place you order on the Meridian Driving Centre website you will be asked to confirm that you accept our terms and conditions laid out here.

Acceptance of Order

Email confirmation of your order is sent to indicate that we have received your order when you click to Confirm your order. At this stage the order is 'Payment Pending'.  We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when your order status is updated to 'Confirmed'.  This is done when the payment transaction has been confirmed as successful.

Delivery

All orders are sent by Royal Mail First Class recorded (signed for) delivery at a flat rate of £2.00 per order. If no-one is at home to sign for the delivery, Royal Mail will leave you a card with details of how you can request re-delivery or collection.

We aim to get your order delivered to you as soon as possible. Where items are in stock we will despatch within 2 working days of acceptance of order. In the rare event that an item is out of stock we will contact you to advise you of a 'lead' time for delivery and confirm that this is acceptable to you.

Customers will normally receive their order in 1 - 2 working days after despatch. Please allow for possible delays in the two-week period prior to Christmas! We will send you an email when your order has left our premises. This will update your order status to 'Shipped'. Please bear these timescales in mind before contacting us about non-delivery. Customers are able to access their order history and status of current orders by logging in and going to My Account.

Payment

Our payment processes are fully secured using a 128-bit encryption payment gateway provided by PayPal, one of the largest Payment Service Providers in the world. Payment may be made with confidence using credit or debit card (including Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Solo) or via a PayPal account.

Right to Cancel

Under the distance selling regulations you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website, for a full refund. Your cancellation rights expire 7 days after receipt of the goods. The distance selling regulations provide further information regarding your cancellation rights. Deemed delivery date will be 2 working days from date of posting. Notice of cancellation must be given in writing or via email using the contact information on this website.

Goods returned due to cancellation must be complete with any original packaging and be in a re-saleable condition, i.e. not damaged, stained or torn. We will issue a full refund of the purchase price, not including postage charges.

Returns and Refunds Policy

  • Item damaged in transit - If an item delivered has been damaged in transit you can return it within 7 days of receipt for replacement or a full refund including postage.
  • Item is defective - You have the right to return faulty items within a reasonable period of time for replacement or a full refund including postage.
